Jumeirah, a global leader in luxury hospitality and a member of Dubai Holding, introduces a new transatlantic full-charter voyage on The Maltese Falcon, a Jumeirah Privé Experience. Departing this December, the 88-meter sailing superyacht will embark on a transatlantic crossing from the Canary Islands to Antigua, comprising of ten days at sea followed by up to three days in Antigua. This charter has been intentionally designed to make the crossing itself the destination, where guests embrace the rhythm of life on the open ocean.
Departing Gran Canaria between 1-5 December 2026, guests can expect to leave behind the crisp light of the European autumn and sail towards the warmth of the Caribbean. Each sunrise arrives a little earlier, the air grows softer and the sea shifts from deep cobalt to luminous sapphire. By the time Antigua appears on the horizon, emerald hills and coral reefs frame the view.
Jumeirah will infuse the onboard experience with the same distinctive, purposeful approach that defines its properties around the world from signature culinary experiences and wellness expertise to the anticipatory service for which the brand is renowned. Guests will have access to the yacht’s full suite of amenities including a three-deck atrium with skylight and sweeping staircase around the main mast, an outdoor cinema projected onto the lower sail, a rotating circular sunbed on the flybridge, and a dedicated wellness area with massage room and fitness studio.
Instantly recognisable and celebrated as among the finest sailing yachts in the world, The Maltese Falcon has garnered more than 18 awards since its launch in 2006 for its innovation, craftsmanship and timeless design. Its signature DynaRig system features three rotating, freestanding carbon-fiber masts capable of unfurling 2,400 square meters of sail in just six minutes. Following an extensive refit, the yacht now offers a refreshed aesthetic across its interiors and exteriors alongside state-of-the-art engineering enhancements. Accommodating up to twelve guests, it features a full-beam master suite, a private VIP deck on the flybridge with direct terrace access, and four double cabins with ensuite facilities.
While the yacht has completed this biannual transatlantic voyage for many years as she repositions between the Mediterranean and the Caribbean, the crossing has never before been available to guests.
Reserved exclusively for one private group, the transatlantic crossing voyage is one of the most exclusive experiences in Jumeirah’s global portfolio. Pricing is available on request.
